  • Bogomolje - is a small but extremely interesting place on the north-east part of the island of Hvar. It is especially important for its ethnological treasure which has been preserved in national costumes and in several plateaus for wheat threshing. In this context the place offers various local specialities which enrapture with their variety. Cultural monuments of the place are “kuzina” (“kitchen”) with a fire place and the 17th century Baroque church. Beautiful, quiet and gentle beaches are only 3 km away from the centre of Bogomolje. For its ethnological value Bogomolje is the unavoidable excursion centre of the island of Hvar.
